Our co-founders saw the writing on the wall in 2021, and it was frightening. Big banks canceling the accounts of people they disagreed with politically, socially, professionally. Law-abiding citizens kicked out by their Big Bank for exercising their constitutional rights. Even worse, Big Banks voluntarily reporting their customers’ private financial transactions to Big Government.
Thankfully, the foresight of our co-founders meant that Old Glory Bank was already operational and growing. Together with a team of skilled bankers and business leaders, they formed the pro-America bank our country needed to protect the Privacy, Security, and Liberty of patriots from sea to shining sea.
We started as a small 120-year-old bank in Elmore City, Oklahoma, with less than 600 accounts. We started opening online accounts in April 2023 with a new name and a new mission: Old Glory Bank. Old Glory Bank is the bank you can count on to never cancel a law-abiding customer for their political views. The bank that promises to never voluntarily report a customer’s spending habits to Big Government.
Today, we are serving tens of thousands of customers in all 50 states. Since April 2023, we have grown customer deposits from $10 million to more than $170 million. We are preserving financial freedoms that many take for granted – the freedom for all law-abiding citizens to participate in our financial system, regardless of how they vote, what they believe, or the industry they serve. The freedom to shop at sporting goods stores or Christian booksellers without fear that those transactions will be reported to the government. The freedom to donate to legitimate fundraisers and charities with certainty that the money will go where intended and won’t be frozen by third-party interference.
