Celebrating Women's Small Business Month

Jolene Tate, CEO & Franchise Owner of HireQuest Direct

Women are now the majority owners of at thirty-five percent of American businesses, which employ more than ten million workers and generate more than $3.9 trillion in revenue.

There’s nothing small about women in small business. That’s why, during Women’s Small Business Month, Old Glory Bank is proud to feature successful women in business like Jolene Tate, who started HireQuest Direct.

Bringing meaningful work to communities across America.

Jolene Tate started HireQuest Direct with a simple mission: to provide reliable staffing solutions that uplift businesses and workers.

Over the years, her franchise group has grown to thirteen locations across Tennessee, Arizona, and Indiana, helping countless individuals find meaningful work while supporting the local businesses that drive our communities forward. She is proudly celebrating her twentieth year in business.

Five core values.

Tate has five core values that are reflected in her company.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. Stay positive, don’t feed on negativity. Start with honesty. Believe there’s always a solution. Learn to laugh at yourself.

It’s that belief system that gravitated her toward Old Glory Bank.

“I heard about Old Glory Bank through a recommendation from a fellow business owner,” she explains. “The bank’s commitment to supporting conservative, local businesses and women entrepreneurs really resonated with me.”

A partnership in every sense.

She describes their personalized service as the best part of working with Old Glory Bank’s business banking team. “They understand the unique challenges of running a business,” Tate notes. She adds, “The whole Old Glory Bank team has been incredibly supportive in helping us achieve our goals. It’s been a partnership in every sense.”

A partnership that works is right up HireQuest’s alley.

Turning the odds in their favor.

Despite the odds, women-owned small businesses are making remarkable progress. In fact, since the pandemic, they have been driving the economy, accounting for nearly 40 percent of all businesses in America. Old Glory Bank is proud to support women who are strengthening our country through their faith, drive, passion, and patriotism.
